I have tried every remedy I could find in order to make browser source work in OBS Studio 20.0.1, even uninstalling and reinstalling. I have attached the logs, any help would be greatly appreciated.

When you say not working what do you mean, does it not show in the list of sources or does something no work when you configure the source?

The only thing I can see in the logs is that you may have tried to install the browser plugin from old OBS? If you have then that's your problem. Uninstall OBS studio, delete all the files from the install directory and then reinstall, browser source is part of the base install for OBS studio, no plugins are required

It appears in the list and I am able to make one, but it doesn’t do anything. No I used the installer and had all plugins reinstalled when I uninstalled/reinstalled yesterday.

In Browser Source properties replace the OBS URL with the website URL you want to use in the Browser source..

Something just like this except it is grey even when the URL is default

I'm not familiar with that link but now that it's posted I'm sure someone here knows better how to help you.
Just hang in there until someone replies.

You can't even check for updates properly, so something is preventing OBS from making web requests. Probably some braindead antivirus software.

You have to uninstall it, disabling it still keeps drivers and proxies running. Or you have something else on your system that's trying to intercept web connections.

I don't see that being an optimal solution as no security isnt really an option. So I would uninstall Kapersky, restart computer, try browser source?
