https://hasteb.in/ogiyinuq.sql is log
Specs:
CPU: Intel Core i7-2600 @3.40GHz (Turbo @3.80GHz)
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070
RAM: 16GB DDR3
OS: Windows 10 Pro (English) 1803 (April 2018 Update) 17134.112
Monitor: 1920x1080@60Hz LG TV
I noticed that I get a black screen when using Window Capture for certain programs, like Minecraft Launcher or Google Chrome.
However, it works when capturing Task Manager, for some reason.
Edit: Tried using x264 and saving to MKV. Still doesn't work. Originally used NVENC and MP4.

Chrome needs hardware acceleration disabled.

NEVER save directly to mp4.
Almost always. I never get power outages here, so... but I changed to MKV.
Nevermind, updating graphics drivers solved the problem, not hardware acceleration. But thanks for the help and tip.

It's not the power outages alone you protect against by not using *.mp4, it's OBS crashes or hangs, Windows crashes (blue screens) or hangs, and "out of disk space" situations. If your disk is running full while recording, an *.mp4 is destroyed immediately and permanenty, even if you make space before actually stop the recording.

OBS never crashed, same with Windows, I use a 2TB drive.

It's to warn the other readers in this forum. From time to time we get heartbroken requests to recover the most important recording a person made in his life, and once we learn he got a broken *.mp4, we can only say that it's gone.
