I'm looking to replace a borrowed laptop to handle streaming duties (no gaming whatsoever). Streaming 1080p at 30fps 4000kbps
The borrowed laptop has a Xeon E2176M and INtel P630 & NVidia Quadro P2000 and this is overkill for our streaming & recording
For the use case, a Small Form factor PC would be strongly desired. The ones we are considering all are limited to low-profile GPUs. One option offers the same Intel 630 or optional PCIe card of NVidia GT730 or AMD RX 640. Currently broadcasting pre-recorded video (some of it 4K), almost all of it needing transforms like 90degree rotation, cropping. etc. And then a USB webcom (Logitech C920). Soon to switch to USB connected Canon DSLR with their beta USB webcam software. In addition to PC, also expect to get a NDI PTZ camera.
I've read the issues with AMD GPUs
My question - As I'm not gaming, will the AMD RX 640 be fine, or ?? what considerations shoudl I take into account? what shoudl I beware of?
thanks in advance
