Question / Help slow streamlabel updates in OBS studio

using twitchalerts streamlabels, my stream shows the total amount of followers on stream, i am not sure if it is either streamlabels fault, or is it OBS studio's fault, the follower count takes ages to update, up to 5 - 10 mins the most, during a stream.

So is it the sloweness of streamlabels updating, or is it OBS studio, not keeping an update on the streamlabel files, all the the time ? OBS classic never had this problem. plus streamlabels removed the legacy windows program, from their website, its now osolete, i have to use the chrome app.

Do the files appear updated on your PC?

the amount would change if they were updated form the chrome app's end only. I could use deepbot's built-in obs text file instead.

So it seems it's working, just that the Chrome app is slow to update? If so that's a problem on the app's end.

This is absolutely down to TwitchAlerts stream labels which takes a long time to update, to be honest it's hardly surprising considering what it's doing :-)
