Question / Help slight stutter only with audio unmuted

I'm running: Two cameras + audio from a soundboard ->panasonic switcher (aw-hs50)-> blackmagic web presenter -> new macbook i9 pro -> OBS -> Google Chrome browser.
In Chrome I use vimeo (premium account) to livestream.
When the video is muted inside vimeo, the response is smooth like glass, the moment I unmute the video in vimeo (or OBS for that matter) the quality starts to get choppy,
Not a really bad choppy, but a noticeable downgrade in response. Audio and video are synched pretty well, I would just like to see the quality as good as it is with the audio muted. This same problem also happened when I tried it in youtube live streams.
I double checked it with my phone that wasn't connected to our internet just to make sure.
Any recording I try is perfect.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I'll go ahead and answer my own question now that I've figured out what the problem is.
When you're looking at the preview inside youtube or vimeo, it's local, when I "unmuted" the stream it was just for me at my laptop,
the broadcast was always transmitting audio. This was just enough to spike my bandwidth into the choppy waters.
