Question / Help Slideshow question

When using slideshow, I need to manually advance it to the correct slide in my preview window before I switch to it. However the hotkeys only work when the slide show is live. When the slide show is only in the preview window, the hotkeys don't work and I can't advance it to the correct slide. I can't seem to find any settings for it. Is this a bug or is there a setting I'm missing?

Facing the same issue, is there any update or reply to this?

To summarize Image slide show hotkeys (advance and previous) only work in Program mode and not Preview. Ideally hotkeys work for both modes.
