I stream on CSGO and haven't been able to do it for a while for 2 reason:
*Bad Internet for decent quality
*And incredibly bad FPS when streaming it both on x264 and NVENC
So I got fed up and decided to put some thinking in it why can I stream other games such a Witcher 3, Rocket LEague and World's Adrift without issue but CSGO is just something special? I just naturally assumed it with my old CPU.
Specs:
CPU: i7 3770 (non K) @ 3.9ghz
GPU: MSi GTX 970 4gb SLI
MOTHERBOARD: Z77X-UD3H Rev 1.0
MEMORY: 32gb 1666mhz
Logs might tell you my sources but its just Alerts from streamlabs and Game Capture during these test.
During the first two tests on NVENC my bitrate was 3500. For x264 which was the third test I set my bitrate to 2500.
Sorry if there's lag in any of these videos, it'll be either packet loss or insufficient internet bandwidth. I go from 10 mbps upload to like 2mbps in a matter of 3 seconds sometimes, bad CVC bandwidth at my POI.

As you can see with SLI enabled there's a major issue maintaining consistency in my fps however with it disabled I manage well over 240 and average about 260 on both x264 and NVENC
PS: I'm not sure why but "upload a file" isnt letting me upload my .log file just keeps loading forever without adding the file at least visibly on my end.
Edit: In an actual game my FPS in csgo goes to minimum of 60 fps to max of 160
