So, I've identified the problem, but am unsure what solution to apply. I host a series of online courses using Zoom meetings, and they are based around audio. So I play a lot of samples and musical files from my PC that I want to share with my audience. I'm using VB Virtual Audio cable to do this. Everything is routed properly, and this issue only just showed up in the last week or two (not sure if this was some automatic update with zoom or obs).
In order to get my audio to send to the zoom meeting (via the vb virtual audio cable mic input in zoom), I have to set the Mic and my computer audio playback in the advanced settings to "Monitor & Output", but upon setting the computer audio to that setting, anytime one of the other participants speaks, it sends it into my speaker playback, therefore sending it back out the "Monitor & Playback" back to them, causing them to hear a slapback echo every time they speak, and only when they speak.
How can I fix this so that they can hear the audio I play from my computer AND my microphone without producing any slapback delays when they speak using OBS and Zoom?
