Hey! I'v got a problem with that. I have a "window capture" with "Skype.exe" chosen and everything goes fine before I run any application or any window crosses the window of Skype. When it happens I don't have a Skype on "window capture" anymore. I have a part of the screen where the Skype is and it looks like l'm "screen capturing". I tried all settings of window I capture and I chose "skype.exe" there too but nothing helps. When I have a window over Skype obs starts capturing that window instead. Like I'm using "screen capture". Help me to solve this issue pls! Thank u!

Sounds like what happens when you use window capture in Windows Vista/7 with Aero disabled. Aero needs to be enabled for window capture to grab the targeted window exclusively and ignore other things that get dragged on top of it.

Is your issue similar to this: Window Capture is capturing my full desktop or not?

How about other windows or only Skype affected?

I have no idea about his prob but I'm attaching screenshot to clear everything. It happens to any window I capture, not only to skype.

I have a Windows 7 and I was happy to read that cause my hope revived =D but when I checked aero settings and it was enabled my OBS-hopes are dead again...

Aero is clearly disabled on your system. The check box in OBS simply disables it if it's enabled, it won't turn it on if it's disabled already.

OMFG!!! Bro! Thank you so much! I killed 2 days in search of solution!!! Watched a lot of useless videos on youtube and all stuff. And u just fixed everything when I asked here for help. Just 2 posts from you. Not 2 days =D

Thank you very much! I just didn't know that "Aero" is a magical tune in Windows. I thought it's just a checkbox in OBS settings and nothing more =D That's why I didn't understand about "Aero" enabling from your first post :)

Appreciate man!
