Question / Help Skype NDI separate audio tracks

Hello,

I use Skype over NDI, which works perfect. There is just one thing. When I have two remote callers, I get two audio tracks in OBS. But in both audio tracks is the audio of both callers combined. It seems not to be possible to adjust the volume of just one caller. Isn't that possible or am I doing something wrong?

Thanks for any help
Paddy

Hey Paddy,

I ran into the same problem today -- here was my solution:

1. Download NDI Studio Monitor (free)
2. Download Virtual Audio Cable (free for trial, pay when you're ready to go live)
3. Create 3 cables in Virtual Audio Cable. No need to use the Audio Repeater tool that comes with it, and that many videos reference.
4. Hop on Skype Call, and grab each caller in a separate instance of NDI Studio Monitor
5. Output each instance to a separate Virtual Audio Cable
6. Boot up OBS, and import the video of each caller in Skype. Mute these tracks
7. Import the Virtual Audio Cables as separate Audio Captures. Voila.
