Question / Help Skipping frames to encoding lag on high-end PC with minimal load

Hi,

I recently got a new PC to stream from and have been having issues since getting it. My old and weaker PC never had these issues. I have attached a log file.

I have:
AMD Ryzen 9 3900X
Geoforce RTX 2070 RTX Super 2070

I stream console games via a cap card, so am not running a game at the same time as streaming. I have tried various settings, using .264 and Nvenc, and with various quality settings that barely stress the hardware at all, and still keep getting 0.3 to 0.5% skipped frames per stream/recording.

Any advice on possible solutions? Not sure if perhaps my GPU/CPU is faulty and spiking or something? As mentioned, the load never goes especially high.

For anyone interested, this issue is now resolved and was being caused by the slow speed of the HD I was recording my local save too of the stream too. It was a 5400 RPM HD. I have switched the recording to save to my SSD and all the skipped frames has gone from several thousand per stream to 2-5 only. Sorted! Don't get a slow HD!
