Single PC Game Capture VS Dual PC Capture Card Help

I have searched around and can’t really find an answer to this. Right now I am streaming on a single PC setup (i7-8700k and gtx 1080) and can get steady 85fps on COD MW AND be content with the quality. I am curious. If I go to a dual PC setup I know I can get more FPS and steady stream quality it. I’m concerned that the elgato HD S (that’s the one I already own) will not produce the same quality as my quality I have now using the game capture setting on OBS. THe plus is Adding the second PC will allow me to use my 144hz monitor. That’s my concern. Anyone shed some light please ? The pc I’m looking at for a stream is a Ryzen 5 3600 with a rx 580 (pretty cheap). Is the low grade elgato hd s gonna STILL be an upgrade because I thought it had a lower bitrate etc and I’m just not 100% sure of the difference? I guess is my overall question. And I’m concerned with the audio concerns I’ve read about and hate having to do work arounds.
