Hi, I'm looking for software capable of delaying 1080p59.94 video capture from 1.5-5 seconds (not sure of actual delay yet). I have a Blackmagic Insensity Pro 4K and just want a simple time delay for video output. So HDMI in>1.5-5 sec delay>HDMI out. I can run Windows 10 or Mac OS X with 8 cores, 32GB RAM, and a decent graphics card with 2GB RAM. From searching the forum here it seem OBS has several ways to delay video. I have successfully set up the Blackmagic and can set the live signal. However, I'm not sure how to set-up the video delay and the output. It seems OBS output is streaming and recording. Is there a way to just buffer the input video signal without compressing it and outputting it to a video card full screen (without OBS interface)? The hardware commercial solutions for a simple video delay are $9-15K. It seems a computer should be able to do this.
