So on simple it recommended me 6000 Kbps bitrate NVENC, I put audio bitrate manually down to 160 after watching some videos on audio, that's all fine.. but I got interested in having the ability to actually have music on my stream so I set up advanced with the following settings:
but I noticed there's a pretty large drop in quality... however I don't actually know what the default 'Simple' Rate Control setting is to match it to how it was.. if I just turn the Bitrate to 6k like it was on simple, is that enough, or should I also change some of these other options? (Like the quality preset). I basically just want to match the simple settings which are:
To be fair I havent actually just tried to put the bitrate up to 6k to match how it was, but I want to see others opinions.. the quality drop was pretty bad, I could post clips of the difference perhaps. I'm mostly using advanced so I can get the extra track for Vod vs Live so I definitely want to be using advanced, but not if the video quality suffers. I'm just noticing now rescale is on which is probably not great either..
