Hello. I would like to broadcast 3DS, Sega Master System Xbox 360 and PS3 games in 3D. I think I got a technique that could capture it in 3D.
I know that the number one Achilles heel of 3D broadcasting is lack of 2D compatibility, which is why the NFL gave up on the 3D Super Bowl in 2012-3. I remember there used to be a site called 3D streaming. Net which has outbound streams broadcast in 3D but I can't seem to find the owners anymore. It's like an abandoned page. Any current suggestions for 3D/2D simulcasting?
If not, do you think the uniqueness of being in 3D would be enough to attract viewers or would I lose too many viewers due to lack of 3D TVs?
ideally, I would want OBS to have a side-by-side half 3D mode and then autocalculate a 2d simulcast mode which either takes the left eye or the right eye (director's choice), expands the width by twice and centers it just like if it were regular 2D twitch stream?
