Question / Help shoutcast2 support?

we're trying to find something to broadcast to our shoutcast2 server. shoutcast1 is about done and our new provider doesn't even have it available so we've lost access to nicecast and butt and can't find anything that will connect on a mac to a shoutcast2 stream.

will obs do this? not a mac person so asking in behalf of our 2 mac users and hoping this will work cause i hear great things overall this may open up for us.

OBS isn't designed for audio-only streaming.

OBS streams out an RTMP feed. If shoutcast2 supports RTMP ingest, should work. If not, it won't and it's unlikely another protocol will be added any time soon.
