Should OBS work with a mac (early 2008) running OS X El Capitan v 10.11.6

Hi

I tried installing OBS on a very old mac. Wont run due to an error.
Rather than waste everyones time with logs and things at this stage, is it likely that the Mac and its version of OS X is just too old?

Proc is an Intel Core Duo 2 running 2.4ghz
4GB RAM
Graphics is an ATI Radeon HD 2400 XT 128 MB
