Question / Help Shortened down video

When I will record a video, it says it is recording just fine, with the mic working, the video at the full time, like around 16 minutes, I go to the video after clicking stop recording, and it will only play and show a fraction of the video, like 2 minutes of it at most, any way to fix this problem

Got plenty of free disk space on a disk that are being recorded to?

What format is it recorded as? FLV?

Recording to an external USB disk? Try different disk?
