I am using OBS Studio.

Here's my setup.

PSU : Corsair AX760
Mobo : Asus Z87-PRO
CPU: i5 4670k
Cooler : Noctua NH-D14
RAM : G.Skill Ripjaws 16 GB DDR3 1600
Graphics : EVGA GTX 980 ti FTW
SSD: Samsung 840 EVO 250 GB
Gigabit internet connection.

I am streaming Overwatch game. I been noticed I have severe stuttering. So I lowered my in game video settings. Was EPIC, changed to ultra, then to high. Stuttering/lag still happening.

Went to OBS, changed to video setting from 2500 to 2000.
And lowered the sound quality also a bit.

Still having bad performance.

Those that looks like a bad OBS setup on my end? Or hardware not good enough ?

That log file doesn't have any streaming/recording attempts in it. To make a clean log file, first restart OBS, then start your stream/recording for ~30 seconds and stop it again. When you're done select Help > Log Files > Upload Current Log File. Copy the URL and paste it here.

What does your CPU usage and temperature look like while streaming/recording? You really shouldn't be getting encoding lag with those settings and that CPU if you aren't letting your 980Ti go crazy rendering frames.

I was referring to running without vsync or an FPS limit, which will let your system render as many frames as possible until it hits a bottleneck, which is usually the GPU maxing out. As a result, OBS performance tanks since it needs a bit of GPU power for scene compositing. Your last log also doesn't show any performance issues (no skipped or duplicate frames); was performance better during that test?

I think it was a little better. Here's my pc spec. What would be the recommended settings for game streaming ?
Is 2000 bitrate too low ? I downgrade because the stuttering issue.

Your settings look fine. As a test could you try disabling the OBS preview screen to see if that helps?
