Hi everybody
I am new in this forum, so please appologize if this question has been asked (and solved) already. After searching for it here, I could not find an answer.
Target:
I want to use OBS in connection with MS Teams in three different situations
a) Running a standard teams session with multiple participants with OBS handling the video and audio
b) Recording the session in OBS
c) Playing a video in MS Teams (whilst using OBS)
Progress so far:
If found solutions on the internet how to set-up OBS with MS Teams:
- Setup of OBS
- Setup of Virtual Cable
- Setup of VoiceMeter
Problems:
The Use Case a) works quite well, but
1) Use Case b creates an echo in the recording when other (not me) participants talk. The echo is in the recording only. Not on my speakers.
2) Use Case c: As soon as I start the "Share Screen" option in MS Teams (including the option "share system sound") all members in MS Teams (but not me) hear a massive echo on the audio track.
After quite some research I have the feeling there is no proper solution for that.
Hopefully some experts from this forum can prove me wrong :-).
Regards
