New computer and just installed obs studio 18.0.1. I am using a BlackMagic ultra mini to capture to computer. I can see it and record in its own software. The camcorder is a Canon HF S21, which is set at 1080i, 59.94. There are other settings I could use. In obs studio, it sees the ultra mini but with black screen. What should be my settings for YouTube stream. Also I am getting obs64 not responding trying to put settings in at times, trying different settings. What am I doing wrong. Just want to stream.

Was able to get picture to appear. In the preview window had to configure video. Will see if the obs64 not responding appears again. Also that happened in internet explorer so maybe there is something in windows that is not set right. Reply if you know what I may need to do.

You should be using the Blackmagic Device source type for Blackmagic products, not Video Capture Device.
