Settings for recording on single pc

Hello, I want to record on my pc and every thing I try, it's bad quality or laggy. I watched videos and it's all for streaming or for dual pcs with rtx 3090s. Here are my specs:
Ryzen 8 3800x
RTX 2060
32gb ram
2Tb storage
350 mbp/s download (Wifi)
50 mbp/s upload
Could someone help me to find the best settings for my setup. I don't really care about storage that much. Btw I want to record Rainbow Six Siege. Thank you and have a great day! :)

Start off by doing the following for recording...

For the OBS Output Mode, choose Simple.
In the Recording section:

• Recording Quality: Indistinguishable Quality
• Recording Format: mkv

If you still have problems, since you have a Nvidia RTX GPU, try using NVENC for your encoder and these settings:
