K KAC New Member Mar 24, 2020 #1 I have my DSLR setup with capture card hooked up to my windows laptop. I just cant figure how to use the external mic hooked up to my DSLR. Cant seem to be able to find the mic in the OBS software.

carlmmii Active Member Mar 24, 2020 #4 Apparently the 80D does not output audio over HDMI. You'll need to run audio separately.
