Question / Help Setting up multiple audio device tracks not working, not recording or streaming properly

For starters, some clarification. I know you can load audio into softwares such as Audacity and Sony Vegas Pro to see individual audio tracks for recordings that have multiple tracks. That's not my issue. I say this because it's the more common complaint I see doing research on this subject, so that's out of the way now.

My issue is that after following the official guide for it here on OBS site, after following many youtube tutorial videos, I have set up to record (testing recording settings for output mkv and mp4 formats), audio tracks 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6. I've tried ticking the ones I wanted to use, and I've tried having them all ticked.

Next, I have gone to my audio sources, open up advanced properties, my pc input set as audio track 1, microphone input audio track 2, and tried streaming and recording. I can only get what's set to audio track one, no matter what's set to it.

Let's be clear here, I have the audio tracks I want to record to checked in the main settings window / output / recording / check the track boxes. But even though I have, again, set my devices to the tracks I want to record to, I don't get anything other than audio track 1 to work for recording AND streaming. Even for streaming if I don't have my device set to audio track 1, it won't send sound to my stream.

I've followed so many guides step by step and I'm stumped.

What do you mean with "...I don't get anything other than audio track 1 to work"?
- for recording, you seem to have done everything required for multiple audio tracks. How did you check the created video? Did the video file actually contain only 1 track, or did it contain all your tracks but you are only able to listen to one track at a time?
- for streaming, you can only get 1 track ever. Streaming services only support 1 track.

If you load a video with multiple audio tracks into a media player, you can switch between audio tracks, but you can never listen to all of them at once. To get them mixed, you need to mix them to a single track in a postprocessing step.
In Audacity, you will see every audio track. If you open a video file with Audacity, Audacity gives a popup where you can select the tracks to import, and here you have to select them all if you want to work with them all.
To see what tracks are contained in a video file, use MediaInfo.
 
I'll post a video later today to show in depth what my issue is, and give a view of my settings. It will be easier to explain it that way.
 
Please delete this thread. I still have an issue, but it would be easier to explain it on a new one as I have figured out part of my issue here, and I don't want people getting confused between the original post and the new one.
