Set Audio Levels in Preview Window??

Hi, this may be a lame question but I can't figure it out. In Studio Mode I have a stream with multiple scenes that have multiple video and audio sources. I can't figure out any way to adjust, or even confirm, audio levels in the mixer except at the point that its going live on the stream (which is at that point too late if something is wrong). Is there a way to check the audio source of the preview window same as you can check and adjust the video? To be precise, I have a camera with a microphone that I only want active when the camera is active, but I've had moments when for whatever reason the audio doesn't work when I go live. How can I check levels before it goes live? I don't need to hear it, i just need to see the levels bounce so I know its working and levels are not peaking. Thanks please.

Agreed. I came looking for the answer to this. When streaming a live show I want to be able to check levels and audio delays for guests whilst another scene (another person) is live. I can preview the video feed but I can only monitor audio and check levels once the guest is live which means they have to be available to set up before the stream starts. This just isn't reasonable in a multi-hour broadcast. Perhaps I, too, am just missing a setting for a preview Audio Mix?

As far as I know, there is no way to do this in the software. Whenever I've done long shows with multiple remote guests, I've had to either test with each guest ahead of time or just quickly adjust as they start. Audio is a bit of a stepchild in OBS. When I first started with OBS, audio issues accounted for 90% of my problems. I now route all my audio in through a sound board and do most of my controlling there. In some cases I've set all of my OBS audio except for 1 input to Monitor Only. Then I've brought all of the audio from even my OBS sources out of the PC and into the sound board (along with other sources) and then sent it all back in as one source that is Monitor Off for OBS. Audio is not obvious at all in OBS.
