Sessions Live Streaming Key Changed - now streams empty stream

On Monday of this week, SessionsLive.COM changed their streaming server and key, and since that has happened my stream to them from two different computers is just a blank screen.

I set up a NEW computer with OBS 27.1.3 very vanilla, and it streams just fine.

There is something in my current OBS setups on two different computers that does not like this change in stream keys.

I created a new Profile and entered the new stream key and that made no difference.

Any clues?

The SessionsLive support staff have recommended changing to SLOBS as they claim to have lots of problems with OBS. I have a great deal of setup invested in OBS for this stream and really would hate to have to redo it.

I've attached a log that is just streaming a video from a test system to the SessionsLive server. The stream on the Sessions side is just a black screen with no sound. There are some errors in the log (unrelated loopback errors) but I did not see anything that would result in sending a blank stream.

I deleted OBS and installed a new copy with just the profile for SessionsLive and one scene playing a video, which makes for a cleaner log file. The other thing I noticed is this new server in an rtmps server and not rtmp, but since it works on a virgin Mac laptop, but doesn't work on the two systems that have been streaming for the last 8 months, that's also a mystery. Here's the new, smaller, cleaner log file.

Wirecast can stream to the new streaming server using the stream key, but OBS cannot... just a black screen.

Here's another update... If I use Hardware Encoding on the Mac, then the SessionsLive server only streams a black screen. If I switch to Software Encoding, then the stream works fine. It appears that OBS is doing something in the Hardware Encoded signal that the new server at SessionsLive doesn't like.

Hi Thewitt
I only encountered issues for the first time on sessionslive from obs last night. Been on to their support and they aren't being very helpful. I am just looking at your last comment re the hardward encoding and your saying set to Software which i have and still no difference. black screen no sound. Whats your Bitrate set at and do you limit key frames and keyframe limiters.

Interestingly its showing Bitrate2064 kb/s as a warning!! I am a little lost now on this technology!!

If you go into the app and watch other streamers there many with black screens no sound and yet when you quiz them they say everything ok from their end. Could it be strength of broadband
