Question / Help Seperate Audio Channels

I'm trying to figure out how I can have three separate audio tracks recording. One for music (via youtube,) one for my mic, and one for gaming audio.

I have my logitech g930 headset and the realtek high def audio speakers for playback, logitech headset mic and stereo mix for recording devices. I watched a youtube video that told me to tap into the stereo mix properties and tick the 'listen to this device' button and list the playback through my default device, which the video had me use the realtek high def audio speakers as.

Thing is by doing that, I no longer had that great sound from my headset as I was now listening to this 'stereo mix' instead, so the quality of my music suffered. Not sure if that would reflect in the recording, probably not I assume, but if I'm streaming or working on videos that kinda sucks.

I've been tinkering with these settings, trying to figure out how I can set this up. On OBS I always put Desktop Audio on track 1, Desktop Audio on track 2, and Mic/Aux on track 3. How can I dedicate one speaker for music and another for gaming sounds? And if I do that successfully, if I ever record a video while talking to friends on discord, will I still be able to hear them too?

Yes, I know OBS can support 6 audio tracks.. I did a test record and saw that once I bring the file into my video editing software, there are three audio tracks which is awesome. Thing is I don't know how to assign different sounds to different tracks. How do I assign my gameplay audio to one track and my music to another? Do I need to install something for that?

Ah.. I see. Even if that music comes from youtube huh? Alright, I'll download the programs you mentioned and try to see if I can figure it out! Thanks for your replies, really appreciate it.
