Separating New Audio Sources by Default? (aside from channel set for streaming)

I've been using OBS for a while, and sometimes I'm good about double-checking my audio channels, but sometimes I forget, and then realize each of my audio tracks is married with game audio.

I realize it'd be better for me to just be less of a failure in general, but, just in case it's an easy adjustment - I figured I'd make a suggestion:

What if, when you add a new device, the audio for that device by default is sent to its own track (an empty one if there is one, or it just adds a new track for it, which you could remove manually later if you wanted)?

If the reason a new device's audio track is by default recorded onto each audio track is to help make sure the user has audio on their stream, maybe the new device's audio track could also automatically be sent to whichever track OBS has set for streaming

Just an idea! Love this program.
