Hi guys, is there any way to perform a recording via OBS with multiple audio tracks in a way that allows me to see two real separated audio tracks when in the end I import the file in IMovie (or another editing sw).
Cause even if I select multiple audio tracks in obs settings and in the advanced audio properties i assign one audio source to track 1 and the other to track 2, when I import the file in Imovie i can see just one audio track with both merged together.

Thks in advance for the support

Final Cut, Da Vinci Resolve, Sony Vegas, and Adobe Premiere can all see multiple audio tracks in recordings made by OBS if the container supports it.

I have not used iMovie in a very long time, so I don't know if this a problem with IMovie or your setup.

You need to assign audio devices to separate trackers in the Mixer, and then also specify which and how many tracks to record in the Output panel, and also use a container that supports multiple track audio (mkv, mp4-- best practice is to use mkv then remux to mp4 to avoid potential problems with crashed/unrecoverable mp4 recordings that do not affect mkv).
