Send keypress commands from OBS during scene change.

So here's my dilemma I have a Lumens VC-B30u I am grabbing video from the camera over USB with no problem. I have 6 presets that can be triggered with Hotkeys [ctrl alt 1-6]. There is a serial port accepting Visca commands however I read somewhere that if you use the serial port the camera will only output video over HDMI (I can't find that now) and I don't have the USB to Serial cable or the coding skills to figure out the complicated Visca command language. https://www.lumens.com.tw/Download/RS105 - VC-B30U RS-232 command set_1_2.pdf
There is a software product that costs $99 there is hardware that costs hundreds of dollars.
I have remapped hotkeys on my keyboard to macros for the camera presets and I know that they trigger even when OBS is the "in focus" Window.
All I need is a way to send the keypresses from OBS when I change scenes.
I can put some scripting language together like Lego bricks but I don't actually understand much of them. Applications like CheatEngine can accomplish keypresses using LUA so I know it's possible?
Any help anyone can give?
OBS is an amazing product and it can do so much.
