Question / Help Semi Transparent Color Box

Is it possible to make a color semi transparent box that I can use for a background that I can adjust the size and transparency for whatever I need it to be.??

Use a Color Source with a Color Correction filter and lower the opacity (or any filter that directly alters source opacity).
