Seeking advice upgrade or wait for OBS purposes?

I currently have an 2018 i3 Mac Mini.

I could upgrade to a 2022 M2 Mac Mini.

If I sell my old Mac Mini, of which I am the only owner, i could get an Upgrade for $250-350. (Depending on a sale).

I currently have a 10 camera and One Capture Card set up, but because Mac OS is too dumb to be able to differentiate between 10 different SQ-11 cameras, which I need for Stereoscopy, I am limited to plugging in 4 cameras at a time.

Currently I notice stuttering on my Cameras when I show 4 cameras and one live piece if game footage at once.

Will upgrading from a 2018 i3 Mac Mini to a 2022 M2 Mac mini help?

Also should one USB 3.0 cord be able to carry twin USB 2.0 HD cameras on one line and port, or is that expecting too much.

I also notice that when I go into "pure B/W anaglyph mode" the camera is smoother because I desaturate the color 100% to make the red and cyan be a pure left eye or right eye where color info doesn't mix between the 2 eyes. Does "dyed monochrome use less bandwidth that full color of the same picture?

In general, is your computer considered too old if you can't run the current Mac OS, and an upgrade could wait if a current OS is supported?
