Each week I video our church worship service with up to four cameras. I then edit it and upload to YouTube. I use Filmora. With that package scrolling text is easy. In the opening I scroll church info and the liturgical Sunday.
I'm learning OBS and am using a countdown clock for the start of the stream and a MP4 video, one that I use at the start of the video on YouTube. I want to put a vertical scroll over that MP4 so that it looks like the one I put on YouTube. I have no trouble getting text to scroll over the camera input but I cannot get it to scroll over my MP4.
