Question / Help Scrolling text on 2 lines or cut off

Hello,

I have been having this problem for a while ever since i swapped over to Studio.

I want to have a scrolling text in a fixed box width but if i do that the text gets cut of and it seems to overflow in one another and not all the text is shown. (see link below)

If i word wrap it it just appears to be on two lines and im not able to set the height of the box smaller

You are limiting max length of the shown string by Custom Extents (the length of the actual string).
In the Scroll filter, specify Limit Width option to desirable scrolling width (usually smaller then the parameter mentioned above).

What I did with mine was just left the length of the text as normal (when first adding text) and used the Alt + drag to shrink the window down. It basically works the same as Custom Width did in OBS Classic.It won't cut anything off that way, either.

When length of the string is vary the crop not acts the same. But it is possible to use it when Limit Width in the Scroll is enabled.
