Hello Everyone,
New to the forum, first post. So sorry if this is already being discussed somewhere.
I am trying to set up a scrolling text box for my most recent donor, showing {name} : {amount}. I have the StreamLabels app and I have the program for the text and everything, I have it linked to my paypal. The problem is, unlike my recent follower box, there is nothing in the file, so when trying to set up the box it wont format unless there is text inside of it. It wont even allow me to put it as a rectangle like I need it to be.
The other issue I'm seeing it, when trying to make it the correct size to fit my layout, i am seeing issues because OBS Studio basically tries to snap it into the predetermined lined of my layout as opposed to letting me freely place it. Which is making it either TOO HIGH or TOO LOW. Is there a way to turn that auto format thing off?
Lastly - I stream from PS4.. I originally tried to set up with OBS Classic, and I couldn't find any videos on how to do certain things like scrolling text unless it was Studio, so I moved to Studio and it works better for me. At some random point, i used OBS Classic and I got my mic audio from the 3.5mm in my PS4 controller into the broadcast - but ONLY that. It was just that and no game audio at all. I don't know what I had my settings too when I did it either, it was an accident and I had no idea I would be trying to hard to get it back. NOW in OBS Studio, I stream with the game audio going but I can't get my PS4 mic audio into the stream. I read of the ELGATO Chat Link, but that only adds in other peoples voices. HOW do I get my voice and what I'm saying into my PS4 Controller Headset BACK into OBS Studio WITH the game sound also!?!?!
Only solution seems to be purchasing a microphone headset and go straight through the computer, and porting that audio into OBS separately. Unfortunately I do not sit close enough to my computer while playing that I can use a normal headset with it. I would need a headset that has about a 6 foot cable. I don't need a crazy expensive headset, just something to people can hear my normal tone. Even earbuds are fine, as they are what I use now in my PS4 controller, and have worked in party chats and previous streams just fine without OBS.
So yeah, how do I see these people playing on PS4 with clear game audio and chat audio if the ElGato HD isn't taking my controllers audio into the stream???
