After several years of using Ustream and other encoders I've recent;y switched to YouTube and OBS. I maintain the web cams for several animal shelters and keeping 24 hour streaming alive and as low maintenance as possible is critical.
So far results with OBS pulling 1920x1080 from our IP cams and sending up to YouTube has been pretty good. However, I still need to automate OBS starting with computer restarts. Our cams have a dedicated computer, but even so I would feel better scheduling OBS to restart itself and the streams a couple times a day. Before I just wrote a taskill and restart script and used Windows scheduler to run twice a day and on restarts. Is there an equivelant command line for OBS?
