Question / Help Screen tearing when recording

Hey, I'm currently having issue's with screen tearing with the apple prores files I record through OBS. This used to not be an issue. This happens on my i7 2600k/GTX 970 system, but not my FX8320/7970 system. Driver's and programs have been updated/reinstalled. Just to clarify, this screen tearing is not an issue when recording and running a game. The tearing issue is related to the mov. files that OBS outputs. When I play them back they have horrible screen tearing. I'm guessing it's a Nvidia problem, but I haven't found a fix.

hey @Peter Miller it might help that I have also experienced a change where using the prores codec I get horrible tearing. I have captures from last year that worked perfectly. When I inspect these old (working) videos I see : Apple ProRes 422 (Proxy), 1280 × 720, 29.97 fps, 21.42 Mbps. Now capturing on several different systems and configurations I cannot get prores to capture without tearing.
