Since screen tearing has been reported over the history of OBS and has been caused by tons of different things, this issue is hard to search for on the internet.
I'm getting screen tearing across all of my OBS content. It's quite bad from my camera, but that has a few things involved that complicate it. What's bad is that it's happening when recording gameplay. Again, this is coming out in my recordings, so any Vsync settings do not apply for this since they just change how video is displayed on my monitors. Even if I set the gameplay FPS to 30 and the recording FPS to 35, I still get tearing. It's usually around 2/3 up the screen, too, whether on my camera or in-game. This all suggests that it's somehow caused by OBS Studio, but I can't know. Any help would be appreciated. Here's the list of my stuff:
Windows 10 Pro
Sony 6100 Alpha camera
Elgato CamLink 4K
OBS is recording in x264 set on fast, main, 3 B frames, 12 threads, 4Mb bit rate
Capture resolution is 1920 x 1080 (rescaled here). Source resolution is 2560 x 1440 using bilinear.
