Screen Region

Please add it back. Why was it even taken away? You have to do so much work to simply record a section of your screen. Before, you could just click screen region and be done with it. Now I'm forced to do spend several minutes to get it up and running.

I've searched, and sadly, the people defending the removal of this amazing feature haven't provided a single argument for its removal. I have a feeling these "people" are insane or trying to piss people off.

Please bring "screen region" back to the new OBS!

To be clear, it was never "removed" from OBS, but rather has not yet been implemented in OBS Studio.

I agree that having a better way to capture a region of a screen would be good.

In OBS studio's preview window, where the red square is that you can resize, press and hold the "Alt" key, and you can use the red box (sides will turn green when you move them) to select just the part you want to record. Of course that won't change the actual video size / aspect ratio so you'll still have (possibly) black bars.
