Hi, everyone.
I am mostly blind with minimal usable vision in my right eye. Ironically, I love video editing and broadcasting/recording using OBS. For years I have done this under Windows or macOS. I now use Arch Linux as my primary operating system using KDE Plasma.
While under Plasma, I rely heavily upon screen magnification (Zoom). If you're a KDE user, you can likely see what I am talking about by holding down the Meta key and pressing the plus sign key ("+") to zoom in. You can zoom out by using Meta+minus sign ("-"). You can restore the normal screen by pressing Meta+0.
On Windows and macOS, I could take screen recordings while using magnification, and the recorded screen would display as normal even if I used magnification. I am having difficulty finding out whether or not I can do this under KDE Plasma. Essentially what I want to be able to do is to have the ability to utilize magnification while NOT having said magnification displayed in the recording.
Do any of you know if this might be possible?
Thank you!
