Hello and good day everyone.
I have had this problem forever but always just got on with it, even though it's a pain.
If I have 2 browser windows open and I am recording 1 of them in the "background" (Window #1) while browsing on the other window (Window #2), if I have them both maximized, when I am on Window 2 where I am NOT recording (and I am just browsing the internet to doing whatever), OBS will show and record as a BLUR for the window #1 which I AM trying to record. OR it will just show a solid colour and not show the live [moving] window. So it will either be stationary or blurred.
For me to fix this, I have to resize both windows so they are not at maximum, and so that 1 window also has a smaller width and height than the other.
No matter how many windows I have open, I must make sure they are all a different size to the one that I am trying to record. I feel like this is probably a simple and obvious fix, but I really have no idea.
I have tried to supply images to show what I mean. I hope it can help and I hope you can help me, as this is always annoying.
I use Windows 10 if that helps, and I have the latest OBS
This first screenshot I have BOTH windows set to "max" on my computer, notice how in OBS the video is black, no image?

Now see this, look on the top window I have open, you will see that I reduced the width and height so it's smaller than the window behind (which I am recording) and now the video is playing a live video like it should do

Please note: I used IMDB purely as an example and I don't ever record from there, it was just a simple example to use for this
Any help is much appreciated, I would love to have ALL open app windows set to full size and still be able to record the window I choose.
Thanks in adance
