Question / Help Screen goes black for a second

Hey guys, I'm using OBS to record the screen and then upload the footage to YouTube. However, my viewers are complaining about a brief black screen that appears.

You can clearly see it here at 10:42 (when I play the dragon). Link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SJJ8eSDpScI And that's just an example... it happens at least 10 times I think in that video.

Any ideas? I don't get this on my Mac screen, just on the recording and the preview screen. Thanks in advance!

That's what I get.

BTW, this happens when I record Hearthstone, one of my favorite games. It does NOT happen, for instance, when I record a Sega Genesis emulator. Maybe it's something with the GPU, but I don't know how to fix it.

Yeah... same thing apparently. That totally sucks. Do you guys know what software encoding means? As opposed to hardware encoding. Apparently with software encoding I could fix it but I have no idea as to how to access that option.

If you use "x264" as encoder (which you do according to your log) you are using software encoding.

Well, that sucks, 'cause it didn't fix my problem. Oh well. That's life I guess.
