Schedule a live stream with Restream

Hi all

I’ve got a live broadcast I’m doing on Monday, streaming through OBS and streaming to five different social media platforms through restream. How can I create a link to share with people so they can log into the live feed on the day?

While awaiting a reply from someone who knows more/better, as I'm not a reastream.io user
But, my understanding is that restream.io isn't a place for folks to directly connect to, to watch a stream. rather reastream adjusts/re-encodes videos as required and FWDs to each platform

So, if you are streaming to 5 different platforms, you'll have a unique stream per platform, each with its own method of scheduling and sharing [I'm only livestream to Facebook, so my knowledge is in scheduled broadcasts to that platform; and when doing a scheduled broadcast on FB, you get a URL than non-FB users can watch, so my use case has no need for multi-platform]

So, I suspect you best place to ask your question is at a reastream oriented forum, as users there will be more familiar than average OBS user who the majority livestream to a single platform at a time. And I'd think whatever you do has nothing to do with OBS (or any other livestream s/w). then again, I could be wrong

Lawrence is correct. This is out-of-scope for the OBS Support forum.
You'd need to contact a Restream support group for help with that. OBS just supplies the video feed to the remote server, it handles none of the playback end whatsoever.

That said, Lawrence is also accurate that you'd give people links to your endpoint platforms (and contact the platforms if you do not know how to obtain those) as Restream is just a replicator service, they also do not handle any playback.

Think of it like this. OBS is the power generator company. Restream is the power lines. Your playback sites are the devices in your house. You don't go ask the power company how to use your TV, or why your blender isn't working. Even if they use power.
