Hello! I tried looking around for an answer to my questions but couldn't find any, so I hope you can help me. ^_^
I am recording gameplay footage alongside a VRoid (a virtual person that moves with me and copies my expressions), and I wish to record her and the footage separately so I can be a bit more in depth with my editing. You see a lot of YouTubers that use facecams do this, and I fancy that style of editing. To do this, I set the base resolution on OBS to 3840x1080 (same as the output), so I can crop everything down horizontally and move it in my editing software.
The issue is that the scene's background is black instead of transparent. My VRoid's background is transparent, as shown below when I just stuck her on top of my footage to test, so no issues there —
But in the image below, I encounter the issue of transparency. How can I make the scene background transparent instead of black? It's probably an easy fix, but I just can't find it. :c
And my last quick question — When recording to that base resolution of 3840x1080, is there any way to make sure that both of the sources are occupying the same amount of space, equal on left and right? I enabled the options for snapping sources to the edge, other sources, and horizontal/vertical center, but it doesn't seem to function properly for me.
Thank you so much ♥
I'm not sure if it's useful here, but I have the log file as requested too: https://obsproject.com/logs/PHC9M8xuzYaGhP1L
