Scene projection persists when scene is changed

We are doing hybrid worship. There are times when we want the in-person participants to see an image or video that is also being streamed. In that scene, I have selected Fullscreen Projector (Scene) and chosen our sanctuary projector. I also have Show in Multiview selected. But when I switch from that scene to the next one, usually a camera, the projection persists until I close it manually. I had expected that selecting projection for a scene would automatically end when I changed scenes. (Our pastor doesn't want his image cast larger than life behind him during live cam scenes.)

This is the intended behavior for this feature, a scene does not necessarily have to be in the preview or program to be output as a projector.

@R1CH By the way: Does that mean that every scene is rendered each time, even if its not visible in preview or program?

Or is it an logical OR as of:

Scene rendered := in_projector OR in_preview OR in_program?
