Scene Collection Behavior

Hello Everyone: My question concerns switching to a new Scene Collection while in Studio Mode and what determines which scenes appear in the Preview and Program windows. I would like to be able to control which scene appears in the Program window, but I can't see the pattern or how I can manage this behavior.

Any help would be appreciated.
