Hi guys, it seems a similar problem has been encountered before but I couldn't find a suitable solution.
Thought maybe my log would help.
I was using OBS fine for many days....took a break for a couple of months...used it again and getting this failure. Sometimes its fine, other times it does this.
It saves nothing except a tiny file of a couple of kb. Very distressing since Im recording lectures (on Collaberate) that go from 1-2 hrs.
In fact, because of this error I ran out of time to record the lectures because of a deadline. Hours of recording was unsuccessful.
Even limiting it to 1 hr can still result in the problem tho. And I have many GB of space
Some parameters:
- Full screen rec
- 'high quality medium file size' or whatever that quality level is
- MKV
- using output timer
BTW, every time I tested it with a SHORT recording, it seemed fine.
And as I said, sometimes it DOES work.
