Saving recordings creates a new folder?

My recordings have previously been automatically saved as files in the folder I had specified in "Settings/Output/Recording path". The file name was specified in "Settings/Advanced/File Name Formatting".
Now, there is suddenly created a folder (with with the first 36 characters of the name I have defined for the file) in the destination folder, and the actual recording file is saved in this folder with only the last 8 characters of the defined filename).

I am using Windows 11 (since November 21), but I haven't had the problems described above until a couple of weeks ago.

Any suggestions to how to solve this?

Hi there, Maybe obs accidentally had a bug. May I know if you have lost your recording file? Or it just saved in another folder?
You can click on Settings in the Controls. Switch to the Output tab and find the recording path in the Recording. Then click Browse and select a folder to store OBS recordings. Change the saving folder by clicking Select Folder > Apply > OK.

Did you make any other changes in Settings, Advanced: Recording section?
What is the current value of the Filename Formatting?

Could you please provide a log file of the OBS session with that recording? Here's how...

I have also attached screen shots of the Output and Advanced tabs if that helps.

Just added a couple of screen shots of Windows File Explorer showing the folder that has been created by OBS in the folder which is the defined "Recording path". The actual recording file is located in the folder created by OBS.

Filename Formatting contains a slash where you had a & before. At the slash a new folder is created.

I've replaced the slash with & and all is good now. Thank you so much for your help ;-)
