I'm setting up a system to stream video and audio to facebook (720p/30fps, I believe). I'll be using rtsp camera sources (up to 4) as well as local dvd/blu-ray and powerpoint. (note: we will be licensed correctly for all the video sources - that's not a concern) We will not be using it for gaming, this is more of a broadcasting studio setup.
I'm planning on an Intel i7, 8 gig of ram, 3-4 monitors (two or three for monitoring / controlling cameras and one for HDMI output to a local projector ) and an nVidia graphics card of some sort. I'm trying to decide between a GeForce <something> or a Quadro K1200.
After the requirement of acceptable quality, price is the driving factor. Can any of you provide advice?
