Runtime components

I'm having a problem with installation. I am working in Windows 8.
When I try to run the .exe, I get an error message saying I need to download runtime components (Visual C++ 2017 Redistributable [64 Bit] vc_redist.x64.exe)

I've downloaded and run via the link, but I still can't continue installation of OBS.

Please could you advise?

No log file, I'm afraid, because I'm not in yet.

Make sure to install all updates from Windows Update too.

Does anyone have a solution for mac? I installed the NDI runtime plugin my obs stopped loading.
